80 years of expertise and innovation
The Fruytier Group encompasses a wide range of professions within the timber industry, including sawmilling, timber construction, renewable energy, logistics, maintenance, supply chain management, sales, and IT, as well as administrative and technical roles. This complementarity enables the Group to manage all its day-to-day operations effectively.
The wood processed by Fruytier Group comes from local forests located within a radius of approximately 250 km of its sites. This local sourcing fosters a short supply chain, ensures controlled traceability, and strengthens the company’s ties to the region.
Wood stands out as a solution suited to environmental challenges and the evolution of the construction sector. Renewable and requiring little energy to process, it enables the development of sustainable buildings while reducing the carbon footprint of construction projects.
Fruytier Group is developing an industrial model based on the full utilization of wood. Structured around three complementary divisions—Timber, Build, and Energy—the group controls various stages of the value chain, from forest sourcing to finished products and energy production.
Fruytier Group is a family-owned business active in the timber industry since 1946. Operating in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, and Germany, the group draws on three generations of expertise to develop its activities in the fields of timber and renewable energy.
